Senior Operational Excellence and Lean Programs Manager

Leads the implementation of Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing programs, and deploys methods of continuous improvement, to help the customers gain a competitive edge by improving quality, productivity, and overall performance. Will use TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tools and processes to improve machine uptime and utilization, improve space utilization, increase energy efficiency, reduce inventory, and lead time and costs. Will lead the synchronized effort to achieve more efficient utilization of materials, staff and resources and reduce waste that will lead to significant cost savings. These goals will be obtained by tailoring the right mix of Management practices and implement the tools and techniques to:

Analyze the existing operations and review production schedules, engineering specifications and orders; Capture the current knowledge of existing methods and procedures, and deploy training programs; Develop analytical tools and reports, including staffing and inventory models, in order to manage supply chain performance and increase flow of products and services through the factory; Estimate production costs and utilize cost saving methods; Apply statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staffing requirements and production standards. Will mentor, educate and train workforce on the use of lean tools. Translates company’s business strategy into operational goals with visible metrics.

We require a Master’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of related experience. Prior experience with lean manufacturing, TPM, and Operational Excellence deployment at all levels of manufacturing operations. Proficiency in contemporary lean manufacturing tools.
